Its definitely great to be back in ITB after 6 months of attachment and almost a month of holiday breaks for most of us. Luckily no lectures for the 1st week, just an induction program.
1st day
Rainy day, as usual, everyone's had so much to talk to each other that u can probably hear almost everyone's conversation.
First came in our temporary group coordinator who explains some of the basic stuff to us, then later we were supposed to have the briefing with the HOD but he didn came in so it was free period for us.
In the afternoon, after lunch was a group activity in the concourse where everyone has been split up into 10 groups which were named after chocolates, my group was named "Hersheys". Basically it was like this "amazing race" thingy i had for my first year's orientation then we had to build a structure that protects the egg from a fall from the 2nd floor of ITB. I had lots of fun although it was kinda dissapointing/frustrating to earn the 9th place out of 10 positions.
2nd day
Nothing much on that day except for a couple more briefings by the lecturers who will be teaching us for this year
3rd day
Also pretty much the same as the day before
And now upcoming is that one last briefing on saturday(the only one actually on that day) then the real thing will start next week.
Meanwhile I was blog surfing n found this blog where the author says why so many ppl in his class failed was due to them talking when lecturer is busy giving a lecture, hence not paying attention. I think i might have to agree with that statement since that really applies right now the whole class in lectures n I really hope that they do really keep the noise down for most lectures and not just the ones in FA

Happy Chinese New Year
Here comes tat time of the year again, the chinese new year, so i wish all the chinese readers n friends a very happy chinese new year.
And I really hope my classmates dun go all "when ur having an open house?" when i get back to school. Last year, they kinda annoyed me with that question so i really hope they dun ask me that unless i'm havin it then i will them myself.
The flood these days is really affecting almost everywhere in Brunei, esp all those popular spots that youngsters n kids love to go to. Wish I could take pictures but my camera is not water proof so wudn wanna risk it, plus i do not know the correct settings n functions of the camera.

The 1st post of 2009
Can't believe its already 2009, and so fast too.
As for the 1st task of the year, its the date of submission for most ITB-ians reports on their SWE, which i heard had varying number of pages. Mine is not really thick though, since I need to exclude information is inappropriate to be disclosed to the public, which probably could double the pages of my report if I actually did include them. Some of us did have discussions on how to do these reports which I didn went to, due to some difficulties I'm having with the venues.
After that its probably waiting for the results of the reports then its the final year for most of us who made it. What probably lies ahead, I woudn't know, but its life so I gotta face it and ignore the obstacles (physical or mental whatever it is).
Since its 2009, maybe I should just bid farewell to 2008's version of me and now its probably the time for my change, while still retaining some bits of my old self. Maybe I probably won't be holding back my opinions now haha.
