Induction week

Its definitely great to be back in ITB after 6 months of attachment and almost a month of holiday breaks for most of us. Luckily no lectures for the 1st week, just an induction program.

1st day
Rainy day, as usual, everyone's had so much to talk to each other that u can probably hear almost everyone's conversation.

First came in our temporary group coordinator who explains some of the basic stuff to us, then later we were supposed to have the briefing with the HOD but he didn came in so it was free period for us.

In the afternoon, after lunch was a group activity in the concourse where everyone has been split up into 10 groups which were named after chocolates, my group was named "Hersheys". Basically it was like this "amazing race" thingy i had for my first year's orientation then we had to build a structure that protects the egg from a fall from the 2nd floor of ITB. I had lots of fun although it was kinda dissapointing/frustrating to earn the 9th place out of 10 positions.

2nd day

Nothing much on that day except for a couple more briefings by the lecturers who will be teaching us for this year

3rd day

Also pretty much the same as the day before

And now upcoming is that one last briefing on saturday(the only one actually on that day) then the real thing will start next week.

Meanwhile I was blog surfing n found this blog where the author says why so many ppl in his class failed was due to them talking when lecturer is busy giving a lecture, hence not paying attention. I think i might have to agree with that statement since that really applies right now the whole class in lectures n I really hope that they do really keep the noise down for most lectures and not just the ones in FA
