Yesterday

Went out with my 2 best frens, Alif and Amir. We were planning on actually goin to KFC (Kianggeh Food Court) but due to some issue me n amir had with Alif's appearance, baik tah change the plan so we ended up in CAM at Yayasan.

After that we walked around for a bit since Amir wanted to look for stethoscope(for general doctor's use) but they didn have it there so we ended up goin to Kiulap mall to look for it which still leads to the same result. In the end we decided to call up Seit n the issue is done from there hehehe.

Then we just hanged out at Alif's place later, but me n Amir had to leave early since Alif's got another commitment to attend to.

And these past few days I been having headaches, and based on what I researched, it could be a tension-type headache

Test shots + movies

Yesterday, I tried out some shots with one of my presents

Then at night i went out with my one of my best frens (there were two of them but the other one couldn make it due to prior commitments).

We went to watch eagle eye at the Empire, which was seriously a cool movie, i mean a computer that can control everything in the state was pretty awesome even though the computer itself is evil to the point where it can plot to kill anyone in the way.

Moody

Feels like wanna cut myself off frm the real world at times

5th Oct 2008

Went out with Adul today becoz of an open house that our ex-clasmate at ITB, Filah is having, but of coz we didn actually went there coz she msg adul not to come first coz she gotta prepare for it , but we were already on the way.

So we just wait for her after stopping by the Hua Ho Tanjong Bunut(while stumbling across Datul n her bf). But we just got tired of waiting, so we didn end up going to her house (i guess that was being part of her character which i think everyone knows)

And tat all leads us back to lambak, Ayamku sja we both went to LOL.

Yesterday

Was another sungkai day wif my best fren, but this time not eating out but rather just go to the pasar malam and get the food from there since its like so cheap n u probably can get so much with just $10.

So all we got was 3 milos, 1 rice, 1 noodles n 2 kebabs. i think tat was all we bought for ourselves(which means the list excludes wat we bought for others hehehe) .

After we got all wat we need, my best fren decide to go on quite a zoom coz it was almost 6 and we had to get back to his place by 6.15 pm for something(i think it was called "baduk" can't remember wat exactly was it lol).

So we hanged out till 11 last nite , actually i would leave much earlier but had a bit of an interruption due to some ppl coming over to fix up some things, thank goodness it was a quick setup, at least i get to watch finish tat DVD hehe.

Moody again

kWonder If the rain sometimes really can cause moodiness in someone?

Nothing can really make u more moodier especially u dun get certain things done due to having someone delay ur time, causing nothing to be done at all.

And of coz, it makes u moodier when someone doesnt reply ur calls or messages esp when u need a reply urgently.-Edited- Ok looks like those messages werent sent out, is DST to be blame again?

And i really dunno too if i will b able to see Zoel off back to UK 2day, things aren't the same anymore like last time I see him off, I got no haters(also his frens) I personally knew back then, but now I do, and if they were there, it wud be really annoying to see them again after a long while of not talkin to each other. Plus I got errands I gotta attend to 2day which will take a whole day.

This is seriously a messed up day :(

Last nite

Went out sungkai-ing with one of my best frens. I apparently had no idea on where to go except that I was craving for some KFC which leads us to Kiulap apparently lol.

Was thinking of going to the Giant branch there since its nearer to his place but he didn want to so Kiulap was the only choice. We ordered quite a lot since we were that hungry(I did ate something few hours b4 but still kinda hungry as if i were fasting hehe).

After me n my best fren were finished wif the food, we decide to go back to his place to hang out and watch some dvd's, which I stayed over till like +9pm coz i got work the next day.

-Hanster's out-

12 September 2008

few days ago

I was at the mall coz Zoel invited me to sungkai with him. So right after I finished work at client's place in Kiulap, I headed straightaway to the Mall, where I bumped into Mirez at the entrance with his "senior" hehe

While at the mall, i was at a complete loss of my sense of direction. 1st i thought the arcade has only one entrance instead of two. Secondly I confused myself between Utama Grand n Jaya lol so i ended up going forth and back between the two places lookin for pu3 n illa (I'm so blonde during those moments lols).

But anyways, managed to find zoel later coming out of the arcade entrance near the food court n then later with pu3 n illa coming toward us. The we ordered some food n then sit down somewhere in the food court while waiting for the sungkai time to start. N i will let some of the pics do the talking for me hehee

Whew

Sometimes surviving a drama in ur real life is not as easy as it were on the TV or something equivalent to that.

I had another one again a while ago because of some slight misunderstanding with my fren, which caused him to be kinda offended, resulting in me getting really stressed n lose another few years of my life.

Seriously, these kinds of things are not really good for me, coz it happened like 3 times not too long ago, and added with the heavy workload during that time, it just depresses me so much. Now its happening again although with not much degree like last time since the problems in my current work are not exactly mine but also the other side as well.

Style or not

Sometimes i really just don't understand things bout style. I hardly ever can discover what style fits me the best so sometimes i just pick a random choice out of my closet of clothes (some of which looks bad on me since im still not thin yet).

If stylishness can be an equation, I probably put it as [Attitude+Outfit=Style] lol, i probably got some amounts of attitudes mixed in with bad choice of outfits (clothes n accessories) which ends up with almost no sense of style hahaha.

Ok i better end this senseless posting now b4 it gets worse lol

Another sigh

Yesterday, went off to the bank to cash in that sort of paycheck i got(more like another set of allowance by my attached place hehe) and sheesh, even if its few days after payday, don't most ppl have already an enabled access to the use of ATM machine, instead of just relying on counters, adding the number difference between my number n the number currently served. Lucky I have to wait for less than 100+ ppl to pass by to get to the counter.

Then at nite, went out to escapade with Tikah , Adi n the gang but apparently the rain made it much difficult for everyone to reach there n Tikah the booker kinda couldn make it (termed by Tikah as "ditching") so its cancelled. Dah lah kana marah for going out in the rain, only to come to finding out tat only me and Adi made it while Tikah cancelled on us.

Since its like that me n Adi just decide to head on to Yuppy in Kiulap

So i guess its not bad day but not exactly a gud day either

25 August 2008

4 in a row

Yesterday, went to mirul's place to watch some of the DVD's i bought which i was too depressed to watch them alone at the current time.

But,seriously, 4 DVD's in a role? tats a lot of hours to watch them (we watched them from like 2 something till nearly 9). Poor mirul for getting scared most of the time, all the DVD's were quite the horror type, not exactly the type of experience he gets use to.

So after watching all of them, minutes later i left for home coz i got work the next day.

the 100th post

hehehe,i hav no idea wat i wanted to post actually for my 100th posting, so i just do some random ideas and................................ came up the idea to post describe bout my frens i noe in ITB along wif pics of them. Sorry ah to some of u, inda ku ada ur pics in fone means inda ku dpt describe kamu ni hehhehe.

This is Adul who at 1st sight gav me the impression "this must be one of those guys i want to avoid gettin in trouble or be friends with", but i ended befriending more of him anyways, which mostly happened after a certain personal event .

This is Yusra, very well known in our class as "Tunas bangsa" and now he's refered to as "pms" by me, pmk by athirah and "pmp" by fizah n fatin,

Thats Arif over there (to the left in the pic) . Probably of all encounters b4 we become frens, i think i had the most wif him, including one at the TA Morgan for the textbooks matter.

And over here is Reena, one of my favourite choices when it comes to group assignment. And also known for a fact is that she got called "Mama Reena" by Adul just for the fun of it lols

Next, Julre (also to the left in the pic here). Everyone probably remembers her whenever she activates her infectious laughter which gets everyone laughing alongside her too.

Athirah(on the left) whos also known for givin the name PMK to yus (to which i forgotten the meaning)

Sarah(on the right), which i very much i can only describe her as vain hehehe

Iddatul here, or known as Datul (or Atoi to some ppl lol). Sometimes she's kinda blur in a funny way.

This is Zamri, who's with me in our SWE attachment.

Zulfaqar, one of the ZZ duo(the other being Zamri) that fools around wif ppl (for ZZ's fun at the other's expense hehehe)

This is Duratul, also known as dura or dora(by some ppl). I see her as like a child(not by attitude but by appearance lol)

Thats Emily over there to the left. My 1st impression of her was almost the same as the one i have for adul.

So tats pretty much all I have

Food prices

while i was at brustu they were having a conversation bout beating this increasing food prices,n i will quote saber n PhantomS of brustu for all of this

"Of course the above statement sounds like we are not creating more job opportunities. Well, the thing is, i dont really like lot of locals getting those jobs. Let the technology care of it. The locals should try..."

Technology will need people to maintain it and a continued supply of spare parts and infrastructure. Plus manual labour is still needed to operate the machines.

Locals are welcome to try, but the risk/gain ratio is still too dangerous for most investors. A failure at this venture will more than bankrupt an average businessman, while the more than average businessmen/people will hire outside anyway.

"replace all foreigners in brunei. It harsh yeah, but foreigners working at well placed jobs have higher salaries than locals. Sound like a waste to our economy"

It's not a waste, because I doubt there are replacements from the local pool of talent. All the 'great' ones are pulled into administration, after all. The proportion of Bruneians actually 'in the field' is very much less than Bruneians 'administering' - for example there are perhaps more clerks, receptionists, administrators, secretaries and other officers than doctors under the Ministry of Health.

Until someone gets their head out of the devil's ass and changes that, the foreigners will stay as there are few locals who have worked at their level for the same amount of time. Some 'senior' doctors for instance actually have only 4-5 years of hospital time but 20-30 years of admin time. the same goes for teachers; teaching 2-3 years and suddenly they're teleported to a department without any particular specialism to their name (not special education, physical education or religious education for example). Before you know it that person is a senior education officer somewhere, but hasn't been on the ground in 15 years or something. That's why foreigners still form the big majority of lecturers at UBD- they came here with bags of experience doing what they do, not doing something else.

If we apply this to food production, there might be very few of us who know anything about mass production of rice at Thailand- style levels or American grain harvesting. Looking at whoever is appointed up there is not really helpful- that's the admin side. Fella probably started out as a teacher or something.

-at this point, half of you have probably stopped reading as long posts upset some of you. Well, you're just ignorant.

Some ways to beat the food price increases might be:-

-Start processing the food ourselves. Producing food is not going to help if we have to export it somewhere to be processed (like our oil). Perhaps if we started processing food that we produce we could import less.

-Telling a Bruneian to eat less would be telling them to commit suicide, but it's either death or sensibility. choose.

-Stop accompanying every significant event in your life with food. Buffets in particular. Here, even funerals are accompanied with three day food fests that will burn the pocket.

-When people drink but not eat together, there's actually more conversation, too.

- Destroy the local perception that if no food is served, the person is a piece of shit. Destroy it utterly.

OR, use advance technology to attract more locals. (antah ah, not sure plang dont ask me how).

If anything, more advanced technology will be out of the intellectual reach of most locals. Technology enables you to solve a problem, it doesn't solve the problem on its own.

If sports are anything to go by, Brunei never trains anyone for long term success in agriculture either.

Thank you to these two for giving me something to blog about

Breezy day

I think this is that one time where almost everything was easy to do in the client's office. I think i can attribute it to the proper filing system of the client unlike the previous one, where everything is "in one file" instead of "one for each month".

Too bad,2moro is the last day i will be there. I hope other clients are this organized with their filing system too.

Killernas

I definitely find this to be an ironic thing, wanting to be accepted to the semester of SWE, yet to be complaining bout it so much. How much more funnier can this irony get i wonder sometimes hahaha. But unfortunately i hav no one to vent this out on, so just bear wif me or better yet, try not to read it and leave

Really, travelling that far to a client's office? why did i get assigned to such a client tat distant? is it becoz i can drive? Hopefully thats not the real reason, cause i hope they have better reason to send me off that far. As for my friend Zamri, gud for him , coz he gets the nearest place from the office which is just the floor above.

And sometimes when i hav to get assigned that far, sometimes i do feel a bit sad being isolated that far apart from my frens during lunch hour, its like lunch time wif u sitting in one corner while all ur frens are at another corner having a gud laugh n stuff.

And what doesnt really help is the social conditions of where i work, its like so anti-social compared to the rest of the places my other frens are working. When i see a quiet office, i always see signs of arrogance in most of them. At least i do get some conversations from suprisingly the non-chinese workers most of the time.

So because of such things, i been in depression in and out of everytime. Not to mention i had lots of things coming in my way, naturally, physically and mentally. These things just had to appear at the wrong times to make life harder for me. I always get through them somehow but i got a feelin i wont get enough strength for the ones to come. With my depression, i do tend to get a bit evil, this time i really wished i dun see certain ppl's faces next year when i get back to ITB but turns all Im bit crushed by wat i heard hours ago.

I did some back thinkin to the past and really wondered bout something:

"Why do ppl single you out for the bad things, when they hav even done it before?"

Excapade

2nite me n tikah planned to go to excapade,so i went to pick her up at her place then stopped by the TAIB atm so she could withdraw some cash.

Then off we go to the place, only it was jammed packed tat it took us like 30 minutes to find a parking spot. Once we entered the place, wow it was full, must be really more popular than i thought. Lucky Tikah made reservations hehehe. And this was my 1st experience wif sushi so it was great except that the blacksauce was a bit too salty.

After that, i sent Tikah home. On the way, my car overheated!!. Tikah immediately called Seit coz her place was near. After everything was cleared up then Seit just sent Tikah home while i continued on, to which it broke down again!!. Turns out after like 10-20 minutes of confusion, i found out the 2nd part of my coolant was empty so i managed to fill it up wif the last bottled water in my car. After that, problem solved, i managed to get back home without any problems though Im still shocked n lost a few hours of my life.

Day at the movies

I actually had almost nothing to do today, till amirul messaged me (to all my ex-pte classmates, this not same person as mirul twins as i noe at least 4 ppl whose names start with the letters "amir"hehe).

Apparently he was supposed to watch a movie wif a fren but got cancelled so he asked me whether im free today. Since i got almost nothing to do, why not? I just drive to his place in Rimba n then we both switch to his car and go off to to the Mall which jammed packed (its a sunday u noe) but we managed to find a basement parking elsewhere.

The movie we watched was Mummy 3, which is a gud movie tat i would rate 9/10 (which still proabably means 10 anyway, no one or nothing is perfect :P ) There so much of action going on so it was fun to watch and some funny scenes too like one where the guy tries to fish but ends up shooting them instead hahaha.

After the movie, me n amirul went off to wywy in lambak, contacting tikah n shah in the process but they completely didn reply *sigh* manakan durang ni hehehe. Since no answer from those two so ended up wif both of us going for wywy.

After that *skips out some not so important parts* , we went back to his place, got back into my car n drove home.

A Road trip (NOT!)

Being an auditor(even if ur one under attachment) sure is tough, esp when u hav go to far places to audit a company's accounts, which i hav to do in Kilanas, which seriously further than Nasi Kandar at Bunut.

I completely forgotten to tell the rest attaching at the same place with me, which ended with messages from Zam and Arif while i was looking for the place. Sorry guys

As for the company i went to, once again, more girls than guys (why arent there any smarter guys in offices other than government ones, its making me feel inferior).

Lunch time, tat fleeting sense loneliness comes again, eating lunch alone, one of the things i hate to do outside of home (a clear reminder of those times in Form 5 *sigh*)

And i hav to go there again 2moro for half day then back to bandar. This sure is gonna be a hectic week hehe.

And i really hope they do provide allowances for travel, otherwise im gonna be so pissed off about being a attachment student driving that far for doing work

And one vain shot to end this post :P (I had 4 but i randomly picked this one haha)

1st day attachment

The day where all str8 pass students start their SWE has started. Myself and Zamri will be working in the same office while Emily and Arif work in another office above our office.

So the first day and me n zam had loads of work to be done already, didn expect all the heavy workload would come that fast this early. But think my task was much tougher than Zam's cause i gotta look all over the sources which was a bit of a headache coz it was three super thick books (I'm awesome, to look at such thick books and survived lol).

Lunch time came, finally get to see Arif and Emily after the semester break then later Emily goes off n Me, Arif and Zam went to this restaurant which by the time we may b in a bit of a rush since our lunch break ends at 1 PM, lucky for Hadri who joined us later (his lunch break starts at 12.30).

Back to work, its difficult as usual except this time around i get to use a large size photocopy machine for real. Not that im sakai over it but i just nvr get to use in real life.

So skip forward the time, right here im now bloggin bout this. Life is tough i have to agree, I guess this work may just temporarily relieve my stress from depression.

What a disgrace

Memalukan sja this country. Yes ppl , this IS in Brunei. Free food was given out during this "Bersama Rakyat" event and ppl were crazy in trying to get them, some even brought plastic bags just to get even more of them. Mcm kan mati usulnya if inda dpt the free food. I think they reorganize structure in away that the ppl won't be able to get their hands on the food, gelojoh banar wah these ppl, i seen some of the pics of the event and its quite disturbing for me to see.

And to whoever took this video, thank you for exposing the really bad traits of some Bruneians (not being sarcastic here). Hopefully some of them "civilized" ppl will learn their lessons and behave properly.

1st experience in cheesebox

Not sure how tat place is spelled but anyways, i went there for the 1st time with pu3, nisa n dayah. Zoel couldn't make it according to pu3.

Candid shot of Nisa n Dayah hehe:

The real shot of Nisa n Dayah

And we use this to actually call the waiter (quite convenient since u don't hav to wait for the waiter to pass by)

Candid shot of pu3 (despite wat she says i still find it a nice shot)

We actually a bunch of stuff from there and share them too which includes one of the waffles, two pies. I ordered myself a root beer float and shared with the girls the Ultimate chocolate which is like heaven to me (probably from all the chocolatey-ness from it :P)

We really had fun tasting all the food we ordered to be shared

And this is supposed to be a candid of Dayah but Nisa kinda got herself in the shot during the last few seconds

We talked like about lots of stuff which mostly we might only get to hear from them real life and also one bloggin advice from pu3 to me

And right after we left. Dayah has to go immediately due a family errand so that leaves us three to go Nisa's car which was around Kommunis (unshockingly i always hav no idea of tat place haha) which she just drive us to near McD's then me n pu3 got down from her car and walked to our own cars. Then I drove all the way home which I managed to get back in time b4 the rain gets heavy.

Sunday the 13th

Now tats probably a title i nvr thought i'd say

13th July

Anyways, today I had a function to go to, which this time i brought Alif with me, whom i have not met for almost 2 years after that "Prom nite" at PTEB. So it was great seein him again n this is the 1st time i brought someone to a function. Mirul actually said hi to me during after the function but i didn noticed it(Sorry Mirul, I was having too much thoughts in my head to actually pay attention to anything, hope ur not really angry bout that).

After that, hanged out with him (again for the 1st time in 2 years) at the mall where he later pointed out that i had a flaw in my style, that is wearing a shirt with no body cut, with examples of the clothes he showed me. Looks like his fashion sense has not dropped one bit after all these years. And managed to check out the areas that I havent been to at the mall, especially the "red coloured area" which was the cinema area as well the rizqun parts of the mall.

And i can't seem to resist being vain in front of the mirror at the toilet LOL :P

Then we went off to Kiulap area coz we gotta meet up someone at the Kiulap Mall at that cafe called Aulait (not sure how the spelling goes). It was a nice place to hang out but i wouldn do that so often coz the stuff there is expensive, even an iced lemon tea costed like $3-$4 a glass.

But since the person we were supposed to meet up didn showed up on time we had to go since Alif has like a curfew-ish situation coz he gotta get a recharge for his credit and the shops only hav them starting at $40 above. So i sent him home but we later decide to drop elsewhere after that so I can actually navigate out of his area(I knew the area but not particularly Alif's area).

And then later i drove myself home.

Nothing much, xcept i went to a MTSSR function at the Asma Hotel in Jerudong for which my bro was a commitee member of,n therefore have to go there much earlier than expected. Looks like preparations r still in the progress when i arrived there. N didn took much pics so nothing to post here although i did took a video of a game in tat function which was an "Oreo Eating competition" hehe. Maybe i will post that in youtube :P

6th July 2008

Was at home the whole day until my bro's frens came over to do their discussion on their group assignment/homework which lasted all the way from near 2.PM to 6+.PM which i had fun talkin to one of them(he wasnt a stranger to me since i met n talked to him last nite).

And speaking of connections i found another one last nite too hehe which goes like this:

Me -> My bro -> Hj R(My bro's fren) -> Hj R's fren -> Fahmi

I guess tat saying "Brunei is so small tat everyone is related" can be true after all hahahahaha

And god im still nervous, results of my final test is out 2moro for which my fate heavily depends on, whether i PASS, RESIT , or even FAIL/REPEAT/OUT. Weekend update

So another week of June has passed. The term "fun" has not come into me fully yet so i really dunno what to really do except for going out wif frens (with one of these hangouts already confirmed ).

So I actually skype-ed for the 1st time last nite. Did it with Anna and Amali which at 1st was giving me troubles bcoz of mic configurations hehe(which distorted voices into robotic types) but i got it under control minutes later. At the end of it looks like i owe them a singing of songs, which i was too shy to do, and they hold that till today as well hehe. Oh boy, a shy me singing to them, that would be quite a shock even for myself :P

And currently while typing this blog up i was already back from dinner for almost 10 minutes which they didn knew (until i tell them this later, which i will wahahaha)

Friday the 13th posting

And no i'm not talking any creepy stuff despite the title above

As usual,a boring day for me today (a boring day to me is one where i hardly go out or hang out wif frens) but its quite interesting that i had like the longest chat on msn(which was out of the blue, becoz i hardly hav chats on msn till recently like few weeks ago) which was pretty much bout random stuff and some hilarious things.

And all of sudden during my non-chatting time, i started to really think some things bout relationships. I'm kind of freaking out now because of the stereotype of how some girls are really these days(obsessed with looks n kind of a gold-digger). A chubby guy like me could probably improve as to losing weight which i somehow do not have a motivation for,not because i was lazy but probably for another reason that i do not know of.

Either that or i need the "moves". Well you know, the so-called techniques that ppl have to learn by experience in gettin into relationships. I don't have the basic idea of the "moves" so it does frustrate me a bit. Probably thats why i hated that song "Beatiful Girls" by Sean Kingston because all i can think of when i watched the music video was this:

"How did such a guy way bigger than me gets all the hot girls? Must have the moves that i don't"

That would be also exactly the reason for me to switch channels or turn off the radio when i hear that song. Anyways, looks like i have to find n learn bout the "moves" as soon as possible or else i could probably freaking out even more when im still single at age 25 (thats not too far from now hehe)

Its near the end

Finally, only a few more hours to go for the last of my exams then i'm completely free of all the stress i got from the exam.

And it sure is a coincidence that the Euro cup 2008 starts exactly on the day my final exams ended. Even though i'm not such a football fanatic, i'm still quite curious bout everyone's opinion of which team is gonna win.

New music video

This one's from Linkin Park called "Leave out all the rest"

whew..

as it turns out , i didn't fail my BIS access assignment after all (probably due to some unadded marks )even though my group is still at the bottom of the barrel for that assignment

Another Day

Once again I'm at ITB today studyin . Can't seem to study much at home because of the negative "atmosphere" that makes it difficult to study and I can't guarantee that the exam for the subject I'm studyin for is gonna come out easy, there's bound to be tricky questions and more trickier if some ppl don't understand the grammar of English used for the question (I remember quite a number of classmates got an answer wrong because of that during one of those tests).

Yesterday we had Business Law for the exam which as usual was difficult at some point. Sometimes this subject really reminds me history for O levels where most facts are fixed because it really happened in the past and we are supposed to remember the facts, every one of them so it's important to get the correct part of the facts. Thank goodness we had tips to answer better from the unit lecturer so it was slightly easier because we know which parts to focus on. I remembered that I forgot to share these tips with the A2's because I didn't talked to them on the day and as for the A1 who didn't came on the revision day, I shared only with a few of them since I don't feel like letting everyone know (yea I will blame that sort of mentality over a pointless event a long time ago).

Also after that exam, BIS results (except for our final exam marks) were posted up for everyone to see. For me I was rather disappointed with the results of my final group assignment, and stressed too because my group is the only group to fail that assignment but at the same time I was kinda expecting it because comparing my group's work with others (mostly A2's as I was responsible for collecting their work) they did so much better than us at every question/instruction. Well, nothing to blame there since I have already seen that coming.

Well off I go then

The upcoming final battle

Here comes that particular time every year that probably every student like myself would dread for : The Final Exams

And i got a pretty tight schedule about it too

24th May Business Information System 1 (BIS 1)

26th May Business Economics (BE) <---- My most dreaded subject

28th May People in Organisations (PO)

2nd June Business Law (BL)

4th June Financial Accounting 1(FA 1)

7th June Business Statistics (BS)

So as u can see above its a pretty tight schedule with only few days of gaps

The only thing which probably can help is to have more group discussions since i think thats what more of my class needs. I think i would have gone today for that but didn't due to a certain someone being there. Sometimes i think its frustrating that just because of some conflict long time ago i have to miss out on some very important things

Cravings

One of the pointless things i will b talkin bout is cravings.Seriously, its not just a girl thing, even guys do have cravings(although not as obvious as the girls are). For example a guy with a strong passion for football will always want to play football no matter what, isn't that sort of a craving by itself already?

Damn can't think of anything else to write already,im sleepy n will probably spout more nonsense lol

All the courseworks done

was supposed to post this yesterday but i was too much sick to actually do it, now im feeling much better although im still effected by it so my mood isn't fully good yet

so i had my final coursework of all coursework which is an FA exam and the best thing about this.... theres 100% no need to do a balance sheet which might save most of my marks from being lost

IF it all goes well my final exam's gonna start at around 24th May

As for things that happened,i wonder if puteri managed to recover from the shock of qamarul changing his hair to a mohawk(the real one with shaved sides.unlike the ones we usually see here in brunei) which was kinda cool since i hardly know anyone who does the real mohawk and i don't see myself doing one coz i don't think it suits me haha

I may be paranoid for saying this but i think theres someone who may be holding a grudge against me. I mean i know there few ppl who bear grudges against me for the wrong reasons but i think there is another one more possible person who has that as well.Still not 100% sure on that one

Discussion II

Now finally everyone in the discussion is actually around for discussing BIS today which pretty much is on the same day with some of the groups which i will just abbreviate them since its too many names to put(ZZR,AJ,AY,AAASD).

I think today was kind of a bad day to do it considering the traffic. Oh well, i guess most of the students didn't knew there was a numeracy and literacy test for potential itb students to take. Met a few ppl i noe though, there was shirley who was my classmate in SGS and Shah, who was my senior in SOAS.

In the meantime, while thinking of what to do next in my assignment, i decided to download the newly released animes through bittorrent. To all anime fans out there, i recommend Kamen no Maid Guy and Vampire Knight, since i watched the 1st episode of these animes n i have the feeling these are gonna be great to watch other than the humour in them

Discussion

Me and Reena decided to meet up today to just discuss our BIS group assignment. Well technically there are four of us but Jannah couldnt make it and this meet-up was last minute and somewhere else instead of ITB so i don't think Salwa could probably make it.

Now, i understand why they are giving us a group assigment for MS Access. The tables and making forms, queries and reports out of them is gonna give a huge heachache since theres so much instructions to follow and each is worth every single mark.

Presentations Day!!

One of the days that made me really nervous in the morning since im the first presenter of the day for the two groups in our group. Im never that nervous during previous practices. Maybe this could be that it's the real thing. Even though i was nervous i just try to get on with it while combating it and presenting to the whole class. The marks that the other groups gave me wasnt so bad although i wished it could be higher

After my group was finished it was time for us to listen to the other group and mark them and i gotta say, i have to change the marking so often because it just ain't right to give the same mark to 2 different people on same category but different performance of that category.

Trying to calculate their marks was quite difficult since i need to listen carefully to enter them correctly. Those same ppl calculating our marks were asking us to keep quiet while doing that but they just went into hypocrisy by not keeping quiet despite me asking for silence(which somehow only affects the ppl near me,not suprisingly)

As for the A1 group they got a BIS tutorial which finished by the time our presentations finish. While testing out the camera on my phone, adul got me to take a pic of him trying to be a lecturer

Photobucket

Later i went off to Giant for the first time with Datul,Alia and Jul.My opinion on Giant, it is quite a giant literally(but still nothing, compared to the original one in Malaysia).

Then back to ITB where its our turn to have the BIS tutorial(which just so happens to be the last one for us this year) which was quite hard this time to understand(i guess doing it in practice is kind of better than theory for this unit).

5th April 2008

Its Economics test for all the business groups which started off with ppl being kicked off, girls for wearing tight-fitting clothes and sandals, guys for long hair(they kind of lost time because of that)

So the 1st part, good thing the questions were all according to we have studied so far, otherwise the whole part would be into what i call "Islam in Economics" which i would have sucked pretty badly on answering questions like that.

2nd part, its all kind of up to date, talking bout Giant(that supermarket). Got stuck at this part since i wasnt so sure what to answer. There was this one question i just randomly used my common sense and logic to try to attempt at answering the question.

And now its semester break for us at ITB, but we still a group assignment to which i wasnt so keen on due to how my group is made up of. Hopefully i don't get a low mark just because one person in the group just did not do the work(that person has a reputation of not doing work based on what i hear about that person in other group assignments). If that happens, my peer assessment form is just waiting around the corner to slam that person and have his/her marks reduced accordingly.

26th March 2008

this was one of those days where ur only class is a one hour only lecture and ur completely free after that class.

and so nothing much after that other than the fact yus' car was completely blocked by saiful's car(or someone else since tat's what i saw from the distance)

rif and me were also making up speculations later on what-if situations which probably be scary if they ended true one day

27th March 2008

Practice presentation is 2day with ppt slides compulsory to be used . It was kinda fun to grade ppl according to their slides and presentation. My opinion on the presentations:

-most did well, some left me confused and the others i have no idea on what they are talking bout.

The real presentation starts next week morning with me being the 1st presenter(kinda nervous and relieved at the same time about that). Good luck to me and all the A2 presenters on that day. And good luck to Tikah too on her presentation next next week.

excel's done

i did my 2nd excel BIS test today, which was like any other tutorial i have done on it except for this one thing. The lookup table this time was hellishly difficult, its hard to use which number for which value so im pretty much stumped tat in desperation i didn wanna use the formula anymore.

Luckily the girl genius of A2, Emily kinda figured that out(if i only had her brains hahaha)so once again i think she will score well on this one.

I wonder myself, what makes a genius, a genius. Surely enough a genius can't be that great in everything. I mean they are human after all, they aren't perfect like most robots do(though humans have the obvious advantage of having more emotions).Everyone has flaws on their own which they haven't realized yet.If they did then it's kinda of a good thing since they know what to fix about themselves.

I'm still a bit frustrated, since im feeling annoyed about some things in particularly how my class reminded me of my secondary years. Everytime i think about that my other side just seems to wanna come out and do some damage on them (i'm restraining him at the cost of my mental energy).Right now i'm not even sure as to how im gonna survive this till my attachment comes,at any point the whole class may b my enemies,a thought i disliked so much.

29 February 2008

the end of february

another month gone like the wind, suprising faster than i thought considering there's an extra day this year in february.Guess im gonna list down the things that happened in feb

- Trying to get used to combined lecture classes n the switch of some subject lectures&tutorials which is a hassle esp the days with 3 subjects in them

-Wished some ppl happy bday

-Gotten back my test results for accounts n stats. Act was great. Stats wasnt tat bad but the marks are just enough to make u wanna say wat the ****

-Did another accounts test(which i realize i shouldn be doin under an empty stomach but i managed to do it anyway)

-Saw the infamous blog of the UBD-hater girl (which is something different from most ubd haters )

-Found out that my enemy is gonna apply to itb but that shouldn't be such a problem to me till next year if it all goes well for me n my enemy

-Been finding my other side harder to control especially during FA lectures(even worse if tutorials is in the same room). The only thing easy bout it is that its not affected by certain areas of the lecture room

-AWP seems to be like my 2nd fav weapon now instead of it being the usual 1st haha

once again feeling a bit sleepy so im stopping right here(running out of ideas on wat else to say)

final practice for N-Day.It wont be long till the real thing then i can really relax and concentrate on so many upcoming exams(i already got exam dates for FA,PO,and BIS confirmed).I'd say most of us did really well marching in rhythm to commands(well it really has to be considering we been practicing for almost more than 2 weeks).I managed to get some more candid shots to actually to post in my blog here(well, some not so candid hehe)

This is the main photographer of our ITB group,Zayed/Zed

I was trying to get the pic of how long the line was but this was the best shot i could get from the crowded condition, also present in shot - Aiman(not sure bout his name) n Adul

And here's katie another photographer who's aware im taking her pic therefore able to smile for the camera :P

And then theres our BruNTM(Brunei's Next Top Model :P ) ,Amy/Aimi who i find hard to take a candid picture of unless i called for her hehe

Of course the N-Day practice can be really exhausting too since everyone's gotta wake up early to catch the bus at ITB n apparently i was evil enough to take pictures of ppl sleeping in the bus. Some of them were still awake though

I guess thats all for i wanted to blog about today

20 February 2008

just a little bit more

this time today its a full-dress rehearsal for the 24th N-Day and as usual its raining but of coz it wasnt as moderate just like last saturday is(that was the 1st time my water-proof jacket went completely wet). Its still better than having a sunny weather which probably will just kill everyone in the area(not literally speaking of coz haha).Thank goodness i will just need to endure the pain of walking non-stop for two more times and then im completely done and then i can focus on the test next week(earlier than what i expected which was not a gud thing)

And poor zayed n other digital camera holders considering how much pictures they had to take which were mostly consisting of the management ppl which i nvr know was this vain(to the point some of us actually joined in on the fun including me as well :P )

Then it was all back to school, where i had to endure the noise of ppl in the class. This pain of enduring was somewhat irritating and annoying and very much reminiscent of the time when i was in form 5 and no its not really a compliment to some ppl when i say that my accounting class is similar to my form 5 class coz its both gud n bad. Looks like my other personality(the bad mouthed and unkind one) might just come back as well if im just irritated n annoyed enough times esp in that one certain class.

Can't really think of what else to write under all this tiredness so this is where my post ends for tonight

rest in peace

im still at a shock esp from the 1st call i had from my cousin in KL during my group assignment who mentioned that my grandma has passed away. The news was just too shocking as i nvr expected this time would come though i heard she was a bit sickly last year. May her soul rest in peace and have a good rebirth

since my grandma lives in malaysia, its obvious the funeral is gonna be there so i have to head there by tomorrow for preparations and show of respect. Probably im gonna be there for 2 whole weeks which means i have to leave the rest of the assignment work to the leader and everyone else in the group, reducing the group to having at least 3-4 members most of the time considering the fact that raimi and haniten are quite absent for most of the time.

*sigh* what a dilemma since i value the funeral and assignment as equally important as they are and i feel guilty no matter which one i choose over the other.

Hopefully february will be a better month since i had many things going against me this month
