Whew, what a tiring day,1st thing wakin up in the morning and i have to already get ready for a meeting(the meeting starts eleven but i woke up 10 something). This time i saw even more ex-classmates compared to last time.
The speaker(its someone who speaks not that speaker in sound systems) for some reason is quite inspirational.Everyone in there seems to understand how much pain and obstacles she encountered to reach her goals and dreams and now her parents and in-laws are really proud of her and were much more tolerant in helping her maintaining it(she's a mother fyi).
After the morning speech, everyone was given almost an hour break so there was me,mamul, shah, seit, tiqa, her sis and nad planning on eating nasi katok so we just tapau from one of the stalls at rimba and eat it at shah's house(i just realised he was one of my seniors at soas btw)
During the noon speech, some of the translation by another person into malay(i don't get the point considering every person in the hall seems to understand it) were quite hilarious that most ppl laughed.I think one of the translations went like this:
Speaker:What part of "all" did you not understand?
Translator: Bahagian "semua"apakah yang mun paham bisai?
Everyone laughed at this translation.
At the end of her speech she nearly made everyone cry with a touching letter that she read in a novel.
After the whole thing was over,we(the same group of ppl i mentioned earlier) went over a place (i think its called ACC) in Bunut where the food is quite cheap since i nvr saw an individual price that goes above $3.50.Apart from us,the whole lot from the meeting was there too, discussing about the meeting earlier(and creating noise pollution from the inside n outside hehe)
After thats done, mamul is off to send each and everyone of us home except for tiqa's sis since she left before our trip to the restaurant. So all that and now it was nearly 9 when i got home.I think i'm gonna get sick since my body feels warm and my ears are turning redder all the time.
So there,my really tiring but fun day.
